Social Media Reaction Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a different size category versus the original listing due to the recalibration. Vinted explained the new system was more in line with other platforms. It has advised users to examine their items and manually change the size when needed, causing user dissatisfaction. Sizing System Updates Previously, the sizing featured one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10. The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18. Shopper Stories Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does. A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained. Necessary Adjustments A different user, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
